TLC Springwater Continues Partnership with Cleveland Minority Organ Tissue Transplant Education Program and Other Local Charities

On July 14, TLC Springwater once again partnered with the Cleveland Minority Organ Tissue Transplant Education Program (MOTTEPs) to help increase awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle for disease prevention. By donating TLC bottled water to MOTTEP’s Annual Gift of Life Golf Outing, TLC ensured golfers stayed hydrated on a hot summer day.

The money raised from the Golf Outing will help fund programs delivered through Cleveland MOTTEP that address the need for registering organ and tissue donation, chronic disease prevention and wellness education. Through education and outreach efforts, Cleveland MOTTEP’s mission is to decrease the number and rate of people in need of kidney organ and tissue transplants and to increase the number of organ and tissue donors in the Greater Cleveland African-American community.

TLC Springwater has been a long-time supporter of MOTTEPs, as well as an advocate for health and wellness in America by promoting the importance of drinking the proper amount of water each day.

“TLC Springwater places a priority on advocating for lifestyle improvements among those individuals we serve. Chronic diseases, like diabetes and high blood pressure, and their complications, are often preventable with proper diet, exercise and water intake. TLC Springwater is proud to partner with organizations like the Cleveland Minority Organ Tissue Transplant Education Program who strive to educate on the importance of organ and tissue donation, body and kidney health, healthy lifestyle choices and healthy decision making,” said TLC President, Kazell Pugh.

In addition to supporting entities that promote health and wellness, TLC Springwater regularly partners with charities in the communities they serve.  On August 10, for the 2nd year in a row, TLC Springwater will join the Greater Cleveland Film Foundation (GCUFF) at the 3rd Annual Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival.  TLC Springwater is the events premier bottled water provider for this year’s Fundraiser which will raise funds for the Annual Film Festival to be held September 25-28, 2014 at Shaker Square Cinema.
